This week in fundations children learned letter names, sound and writing formation of 'c' and 'o'.
This weeks sight word for the word wall was 'see'.
In the spirit of the harvest season we have been reading lots of informational texts about pumpkins.
In particular we have learned a ton about the pumpkin's life cycle. We have talked at length about the phases of its life, and have identified important pumpkin vocabulary words.
Which Number Will Win: A math work station where children spin and land on a numeral. They keep track of what numeral they land on and fill in a graph to keep track of the data.
The Dice Game: A 123 game where children roll a die and keep track of the amounts landed on.
Children worked on books for their book bins. They highlighted this week's sight word, 'see', practiced reading the words on each page, and colored the illustrations.
You Skills: Personal Space Camp.

Fall Leaf Crowns for Fun Friday with Mrs. Cota's kindergarten class.
The entire kindergarten cohort went on a leaf hunt and made leaf rubbings to bring home! Happy fall!!
